Maa Brahmacharini is the second manifestation of Goddess Durga, worshipped on Dwitiya. Her name is a combination of Brahma (the ultimate consciousness/sacred knowledge) and Charini (one who moves within or practices). The vibration of Brahmacharini is the vibration of Unwavering Tapas (Penance). She represents the phase of the spiritual journey where the initial "seed" of desire transforms into a disciplined practice.
